Julia Louise Burleson, Cedar Park, TX, daughter of Martin Pryer Jr. and Leona Jane (White) Pryer, was born August 12, 1971, in Phoenix, AZ and departed this life on November 30, 2021, at the age of 50.
Julia and Michael were married Oct 14, 1995, in Las Vegas, NV. They lived in Phoenix, AZ until moving to Lebanon, MO in 1996 with their children, Jedidiah Pryer and Emily Burleson. Julia and Michael moved to Austin, TX in 1998 with their children Kristin, Jedidiah, and Emily, and subsequently moved to Cedar Park, TX in 2000. Julia worked in various retail and office positions until 2011. Julia was diagnosed with UC and Crohn’s Disease in 2011. Julia continued to serve the congregation at Shoreline Christian Center, ushering and feeding the homeless at the South Austin location. Julia was the room mother and a member of the PTA until 2012. Julia continued to battle UC and Crohn’s disease throughout the rest of her life.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents; Martin Pryer Jr. and Leona Jane Pryer.
Survivors include: Michael Burleson, husband; two daughters, Emily Burleson and Kristin Burleson and one son Jedidiah Pryer, one son-in-law Dylan Giddens; and grandchildren, Kiarra Eichert, Spencer Pryer, Addison Pryer, and Audrey Giddens; four brothers, Martin Pryer III, his wife Jacqueline, Spencer Pryer, his wife Sammi, Matthew Pryer Sr., his wife Nicole, and Christopher M Pryer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Service to celebrate the life and times of Julia will be from 1:00-2:00 pm Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Shoreline Church located at 15201 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78728.
