Karl Allen Brunson, 57, formerly of Big Spring, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at his residence after a long illness.
He was born October 23, 1955 in Big Spring, TX., and graduated from Big Spring High School. He lived in Big Spring and spent most of his life working and managing Cactus Paint. He will be remembered most as a scholar, a creative chef, a lover of music, a faithful husband and father, and follower of Yawweh.
Survivors include his Wife of 34 years; Robbie Brunson, Son; Jeremy Brunson both of Austin, TX., Daughter; Alicia Brunson of Forth Worth, TX., Parents; Belton ad Nona Brunson of Big Spring, TX., one Brother; Daryl Brunson of Austin, two Sisters; Carol Curry of Odessa, TX., and Karen Hays of Big Spring, TX., one Sister-in-Law; Karen Brunson of Lubbock, TX., and numerous Nieces, Nephews and cherished friends.
Preceded in death by one Infant Sister; Denise Brunson, one Infant Nephew; Donald Hays, one Niece; Jennifer Hays and one Brother; Curtis Brunson.
A Memorial Service was held for Karl on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 11:00a.m. at the All Faiths Funeral Service, 8507 N. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78753.
