Lenora Ruth Wilson Mace, age 76, passed away on March 28, 2016. She was born in Oskaloosa, Kansas, to Ruth and Glen Wilson on December 18, 1939. She has lived in the Hutto, Texas, area since 1984.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Everitt (Bill) Mace, son Robert Mace, twin daughters Vicki Mace Frigo and Erica Mace Berding and son Douglas Mace. She also had 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, her parents and a sister. She was from a large family of 9 children and is survived by brothers Earl, Frank, Fred, Jack, Bill and sister Virginia.
Lenora's interests included travel, family, "bling" and other pursuits. In her younger years she was the costume mistress of the Huntsville Alabama Little Theater. She designed and assembled incredible costumes for "Fiddler on the Roof", " Rashomon" and "Once Upon a Mattress" along with many others. She acted on occasion but was more interested in theatrical production. She received the prestigious Big Spring award for her dedication to theater arts. She will always be our 12th Princess.
The family wants to thank the Seton Williamson ER and ICU staff for their excellent care and especially Dr. Annie Tsui for their excellent care and compassion during a difficult time for our family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to your favorite charity or spend more time with your family. Since Lenora requested that there be no funeral or service we are honoring those wishes.
