It is said that when life begins, it is like an open book with many blank pages. Each day as we live, our deeds are recorded page by page until we close our eyes in death and await that great getting up morning.
The page of this book began for Leonard Coolidge Sauls, III when he was born to Leonard and Barbara Sauls on August 16, 1971 in Austin, Texas. Trey grew up in the Manor community where he attended elementary school. He later attended class in the Austin ISD where he graduated from McCallum High School. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Metropolitan A.M.E. church.
Trey had 5 beautiful children, three sons Davion, Tabyes, and Aerron (mother Cleshette), and two daughters Kalli* (mother Vonda), and Lailah (mother Joan). The love he had for his children was undeniable. This love is timeless, for it has no beginning nor end. Trey had a loving spirit and cared about everyone he came in contact with. He was all about family and everyone who knew Trey loved him. There was never a dull moment with him, and you could count on Trey to brighten even the darkest days with laughter.
The final pages of this book for Leonard Coolidge Sauls, III “Trey” were written on May 7, 2017. He is preceded in death by daughter Kalli and grandfather Leonard Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory Joan, their daughter Lailah, three sons Davion, Tabyes, and Aerron, four step children, his mother Barbara, father Leonard Jr. (Peggy), grandmother Ella, one brother Glenn (Ruth), one sister Neda (Antwan), an aunt Linda (JW), cousin Chris (Jeanine), 3 nephews Jonathan, Antwan Jr., Kelvin, and 2 nieces Brittnee and Kiara, along with a host of other family and friends.
