Lonnie Bell was born March 11, 1934 to the union of Leon Bell Sr. and Gertrude Preston.
He grew up in Del Valle, Texas.
Lonnie was one of the best mechanics in Austin. He never refused anybody service.
Lonnie departed this life on April 21, 2013.
Preceeding him in death is his wife, Margie Bell; and the love of his life, Lillie B. Shanklin; brother, William Bell; and a loving son, Billy Ray Shanklin.
Lonnie leaves to cherish his memories his sister, Lomeda Bell; brother, Leon Bell; daughters, Linda Mason, Yvonne Shanklin, Barbara Ferguson, Gracie Satterwhite, Jackie Richards; son, Raymond Lee Satterwhite; a host of nieces, nephews, and numerous grandchildren.
From the family; thank you for your prayers, thoughts, and tokens of love. God don't make no mistakes. Therefore, Heaven must have been missing an angel.
A visitation with the family will be held at All Faiths Funeral Services, North location from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013. Funeral Services will begin 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at St. Annie A.M.E. Church, 1711 Newton St, Austin, TX 78704. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery, Bastrop, Texas.
