Louis Frerich, Jr. passed into the hands of God peacefully on December 19, 2015. Louis (well-known as Junior) was born December 13, 1930 in Red Rock Texas to Louis Sr. and Dora Frerich. He proudly served his country in the Korean War from September 9, 1953 to 1956. Louis married Mary Haag on January 2, 1960. They shared 54 happy and wonderful years together. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters; Alvina and husband Emerick Dworaczyk and Lorene and husband John Halbardier, Mother and Father-in-Law; Oscar and Irene Scholz and Louis Haag. Louis is survived by his two sons; Steve and wife Lori Frerich and Jeff and wife Char Frerich, Grandchildren; Tyler, Will, Louran, Davy, Riley, Haley, and Levi along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a reciting of the Rosary starting at 7:00 PM at All Faiths of the Pines, Smithville, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be the following day, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Smithville, Texas.. Louis will be laid to rest beside his wife, Mary, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville, Texas.
Funeral Services are provided by All Faiths of the Pines, located at 110 American Legion Road, Smithville, Texas.
