Manuel Reyes, Sr

Manuel H. Reyes, Sr., 72, was born on May 25, 1943 in Austin, Texas.

He resided at 1019 Lott Ave. in Austin, TX. Manuel was received by our Heavenly Father and welcomed into heaven by his mother, father, brother, son, and grandson on July 8, 2015. Manuel Reyes died at Senior Care of Onion Creek in Austin, Texas where he finally ended his battle of pain and suffering from kidney failure and a broken heart from losing his oldest son a year ago. Manuel is leaving behind a very large family who loves him dearly and will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Manuel is survived by four daughters, Rachel & Adam Vasquez of Elgin, Texas, Angelina Ortiz & Juan Luna of San Antonio, Texas, Veronica Reyes & Gabriel Richard Carmona, Sr. of Austin, Texas, Sharon & Michael Ortiz, Sr. of Austin, Texas, and one son Miguel Merchant Reyes of Austin, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Three brothers; Domingo & Lucy Reyes of Pflugerville, Texas, David & Irene Reyes of Lexington, Texas, Robert Reyes, Sr. of Austin, Texas; Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Modesta & Indalecio Reyes; brother, Ascension "Chon" Reyes; son, Manuel "Bebe" Reyes Jr.; grandson, Daniel Zambrano Jr.

Service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at All Faiths Funeral Services located at 8507 N. IH-35, Austin, Texas. Viewing at 10:00 a.m. and special service at 11:00 a.m. Interment is private.
