Maria Galvan

Maria was born to Manuel and Guadalupe Alvarez. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Nicolas Ernesto, Felix, Martin, Francisco and Julian and our father Jesus P. Flores.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories a brother Pepe, daughters and sons Sofia(David), Julian, Rebecca(Rodolfo, Iris(Joe), Jesus Jr.(Vanessa) and Gerardo(Dora). Several grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews, 5 sisters in law, cousins and many friends.

Our mother was a very strong and courageous woman. She loved her family. She had her favorites but would defend us all to the end. We would like to thank her sisters and brothers in Christ. Especially Alma & Juanita and many more. We also want to thank Jeronimo, Audra and all the Fresenius group that took part in keeping her comfortable.

We also would like to thank Gentiva Hospice nurse Precilla, Rosalinda, the aides and all that helped keep our mother comfortable til her last breathe. Our beautiful mother has gone ahead of us to save our spot in the pond. She was loved and will forever be missed! We will never forget that beautiful smile!

I especially want to thank my sister Iris Ochoa for her support. You will never know what a great help you were for me. And Vanessa Romero for coming into our life when she did. Thank you Vanessa for the love and support you shared with my mom.

Visitation Service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 1:00pm to 9:00pm at All Faiths Funeral Chapel. Services will conclude for Mrs. Galvan after the Visitation Services.
