Maria Santana

Mary M. Garza Santana Dailey, 77 years old, of Cedar Creek, Texas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2014. Mary was born into a family of to the late Cecelia and Jose Rafael Garza in Cuero, Texas on November 28, 1936. She was married to Cruz Tijerina and had 8 children from that union, she married Alberto Santana and had 1 child from that union, and married James N. Dailey in 2005.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, 3 siblings, 2 husbands, 1 grandson, and 1 great grandson.

Surviving siblings are: Guadalupe F. Garza of Elsa, TX; Aurelio F. Garza of Monte Alto, TX; Jovita Garza of Elsa, TX; Josephina Cano of Duncanville, TX; and Jose F. Garza of Santa Rosa, TX.;
Mary is survived by her husband James N. Dailey and 9 children: Cruz Tijerina of Las Vegas, Nv; Joe G. Tijerina of Elgin, TX, Nick Tijerina of Ft. Worth, TX, Marina Tijerina-Martinez of Smithville, TX; Javier "Harvey" Tijerina of Cedar Creek, TX; Jasu Joy Tijerina of San Antonio, TX; Althea Linda Wasson of Round Rock, TX; June Jacklyn "Jackie" Jeanette Tijerina of Austin, TX; and Leonel Santana of Cedar Creek, TX. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Mary loved with all her heart and unofficially adopted daughters as her own: Norma Valdez, Maria Alonso, and Reyna.
