Maria Teresa Villarreal

Maria "Tere" Villarreal went to heaven on July 20, 2023. She was a wonderful, generous, sweet and caring person. She loved spending time with her family, going to the casinos, watching her favorite football team (the Dallas Cowboys) and going out to eat and enjoying a margarita. Everyone knew of her, or remembered her from her famously delicious "Pan de Polvo" cookies. 

She was a dedicated wife to Juan Rene and mother to Juan Simon. She spent her life as a homemaker and caretaker. She loved her family dearly and we will forever miss her.

Maria is survived by her son, Juan Simon Villarreal, her husband Juan Rene Villarreal (deceased), her sister Anna Maria Castillo (deceased), her grand-children, Mallory Simonne Villarreal, Jackson Slade Villarreal, Vivian Sheree Villarreal and Lydia Sloan Villarreal. Her daughter-in-law, Martina Sheree Villarreal. Her nephew Michael Castillo, her niece Laura Castillo and Anna Lisa Castillo. Her brother-in-law Joe Castillo. One aunt and several cousins.
