Marie Casarez

Marie Yolanda (Yolie) Casarez, age 66, of Austin, passed away on October 20, 2013 following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Yolie was preceded in death by her parents Julius and Trinity Casarez. She was survived by her 5 siblings, Albert, Anthony, Paul, Yvonne, and George, 13 nieces and nephews, and her long time partner Syria Roberts.

Yolie was a kindhearted person who loved all of her family and friends. She love to celebrate and pursue life to its' fullest, almost to a fault. During her last few days she had countless friends and family by her bedside, and in her fashion, held on to that last party to the very end.

We will always love her and keep her in our hearts.
