Martha Scott

Martha Nell Scott was born October 19, 1946 to George Coleman and Georgia Lee Woods in Trinity, Texas. She attended the Austin Public Schools. Martha was united in Holy Matrimony to Jesse B. Scott on October 16, 1965. To this union, four Children were born.

Martha accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the choir. Martha was a Professional Cook and Housewife. Martha's passion was reading, singing and being with family. She loved football and was a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes.

Martha was preceded in death by Her Parents, 2 Brothers McHenry Coleman and George Coleman, Jr.; 3 Nieces LuGina Jones, Christina Coleman and Shana Coleman.

Martha leaves to cherish her memories, 1 Son; Johnny Roy Scott(Sabrina) of Canada, 3 Daughters; Georgia Marie Scott, Alma Joyce Scott and Theresa Rose Scott-Simms(Quinton) all of Austin. 6 Grandchildren; Adam, Tyerra, Ebony, Jordan, Tayler and Jaxon, 1 Great-Grandchild; Zayden, 1 Brother; Wilbert L. York(Juanita), 1 Sister; Claretta Coleman, 1 Sister-in-Law; Shirley Coleman and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.

Visitation Services will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, October 24, 2014 at All Faiths Funeral Service-North Location, 8507 N. IH-35 Austin, Texas.

Home Going Celebration Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Texas Oaks Baptist Church, 9910 Bilbrook Place, Austin, Texas 78748. Internment Committal Service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Austin Texas.
