Mary Cheung

Mary Ellen Cheung passed away in the comfort of her home January 3, 2015. She was born October 27,1950 to Velma Pevehouse and Gordon Price Starling in McKinney, Texas.

A single mother, Mary worked very hard to make sure her children had the privileges she didn't have growing up. She received certifications in cake decorating working in the bakery at HEB until she could no longer perform the physical task and retired as a scan coordinator for the same company in 2011.

Mary loved to read, listen to music, dance, watch her favorite recorded programs and had an amazing artistic spirit. She loved to draw, and had a fascination for the unknown. Watching her children and grandchildren grow up to become happy adults made her heart sing the loudest.

She is proceeded in death by her two sons. Robbie Vance Stuart age 3 and Derek Blake Cheung age 14 and her daughter Christi DeAnn Reifel age 44..

Mary is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Brandon age 35,and her two granddaughters, Meagan Delaney Huff age 24 and Madison Noel Reifel age 17. Mary did look forward to meeting the newest addition to her family, her great grandson Watts Benjamin Wheatley due April 21, 2015.

She is also survived by her siblings, Velma Sue Bowden, Buddy Starling, Maxine Ray and Terrell Starling as well as several nieces, nephews and close friends of her children.
