Mary (Natividad Lopez) Hernandez passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012. Her passing was at home, lovingly held by her two daughters, Rita Martinez and Delores Estrella Kemp. She was born in 1925 in Austin, Texas. Mary's life focus was her family, esp. her grandchildren whom she adored.
Surviving Mary are her grandchildren: Henrick Abbassi of Austin and his wife, Ede, and two stepdaughters, Itzel and Inci; Katherine Kemp of Houston, and John Kemp of Fairbanks, Alaska and wife, Amy, as well as their incoming baby.
She is survived by a sister, Rebecca Barron, and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her two sons in law: Felipe Martinez and Dave Kemp.
A Rosary will be held on Nov. 5th at 5 pm, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, with a Mass following the Rosary.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice Austin for their great assistance, and ask that donations to Hospice Austin be given in lieu of flowers.
