Graveside services for Mary Louise (Goodrich) Begley Martini will be held Tuesday, March 11 at 12:00 noon in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple, with Rev. Mark Wilburn officiating. Mrs. Martini died in Belton, Texas on February 24, 2014. Her husband Alvis Jacob Martini preceded her in death. She was born on August 15, 1924 to Lilburn and Helen Goodrich, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is a younger brother William Begley. Survivors include her daughter Mary Martini Hutka and her husband John Hutka of Austin, and her son Alan J. Martini and his wife Georgia of Henderson, Nevada. She is also survived by three granddaughters; Helen Hutka, Mary Martini, and Ruth Martini.

Mrs. Martini was born and raised in Shamrock, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas in 1944 with a degree in chemistry. After graduation Mrs. Martini worked at Payne and Lovett Hospital in Eastland, Texas, Bishop's Lodge in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Fleming Construction in Stephenville, Texas. Mrs. Martini married Alvis Jacob Martini December 14, 1957 in Stephenville. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Martini moved to Temple and became members of Christ Episcopal Church. Mrs. Martini became quite interested in genealogy. She researched her family tree and became a member of The Daughters of the Republic of Texas, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the National Society United States Daughters of 1812.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
