Our beloved Mary Alejandra Ramirez Valencia, age 83, was called to her eternal home by our Heavenly Father and the love of her life Epifanio Torres (E.T.) Valencia on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at the Hospice Austin's Christopher House.
Mary was born on April, 24,1934 in Lockhart,Texas to Augustin Sr., and Anita Ramirez. She was a longtime Austin resident.
She was preceded in death by her parents Augustin Sr and Anita Ramirez. Her beloved husband Epifanio Torres (E.T.) Valencia, Brothers, Juan Ramirez, Esteven "Steve" Ramirez, Casi Ramirez, Francisco "Frank" Ramirez, and Felipe Ramirez; sisters Lucia "Luz" Ramirez Perez, Augustina Ramirez, Catalina "Cata" Ramirez Guerrero and Julia Ramirez. And one Grandson Alejandro Ramirez.
Mary is survived by her beloved children, son John Ramon Valencia and wife Silvia, And daughters, MaryJane Ramirez-Finley and Husband Rahn, Susan Soto and husband Edwin Soto Sr., Eva Valencia Rogers and Janice Valencia and fiance' Adam Alcala; Nine grandchildren Tiffany Mechelle Rogers, Shannon Lee Rogers, Nicole Soto, Dina Yousef, Edwin Soto Jr., Mychael Anthony Valencia, Naomi Soto, JohnPaul Rivera and Tony Rivera III; Six Great Grandchildren Sabrina Mechelle Rodriguez, Alyssa Faith Rodriguez, Benny Rodriguez III, Evan Dawson Rogers, Riley Ann Rhymes and Tiffanie Marie Rhymes; one precious Great Great Grandson Zachary Leonardo Rios; one brother Augustin "Guti" Ramirez Jr., and one sister Lupe "Pita" Ramirez Jimenez. In addition Mary is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and numerous other loving family and friends especially her best friend her neighbor Arlene Barrientez.
Mary was a kind-hearted, loving and generous person. She took care of so many throughout the years and was loved by all she came across. She is at peace and will be missed dearly. We love you and will always keep you in our hearts.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Monday, May 8th, 2017, with recitation of rosary starting at 6 pm at All Faiths Funeral Services North location 8507 North IH 35 Austin Texas 78753. Services for Mrs. Mary Valencia will conclude following the Rosary.
The family would also like to thank Seton 38 1/2 Hospital 4th floor for all the Care they did for our mother, Riverside Rehabilitation Center for their care as well as Hospice Austin's Christopher House. A big thank you to our sister Mary Jane and our Aunt Pita for all of the days and nights they stayed with our mother while she was in Hospice.
