Natalie (Nikki) Lillian Oakes, 94, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on October 6, 2022. Natalie was born to Charles and Adeline Otto and grew up in Elizabeth, NJ. She attended Upsala College where she met her husband James Oakes, and they were joyfully married for 59 years. She was a positive, loving role model to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her legacy as a dancer, dance instructor, avid book reader, and kindergarten teacher for 20 years made a joyful influence on everyone she encountered. Natalie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings Charles and Adeline.
She is survived by her 5 children (spouses): George (Montie), Jim (Gisele), Natalie (Dudley), Valerie (Kevin), and Cliff (Joan), 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
She considered herself to be favored and blessed with her 18 wonderful grandchildren: Leslie, Michelle Faye (Noah), Carrie, Daniel, Sarah, Nicole (Brandon), Kris (Lindsey), Nathan, Kenny (Mary), Nic, Natalie Ann (Matt), Andrew (Grace), Rachel (Daniel), Clara (Jerry), Jon (Caitlin), Kelsey (Kirsten), Katie, Greg (Ashley) and her 23 (and growing) awesome great-grandchildren: Megan, Jeremy, Joshua, Ashlynn, Emily, Courtney, Occy, Norah, Rylee, Taylar, Ava, Evelyn, Aoife, Charlotte, Isabella, Eden, Elias, Jack, Gideon, Declan, Kasper, Amelia, and Hudson.
A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held at:

11:00am, Saturday, November 5, 2022.
