Nate was born April 1, 1950 in Seale, Alabama to Willie and Mattie Howard. He became a Christian at an early age where he loved to sing in the choir. At Zion Rest Missionary Baptist Church, he sung in the Fellowship Choir and the Male Chorus.
He was a member of the Men's Ministry and the Hope Committee. He was a faithful member until he became ill and was unable to attend on a regular basis.
Nate graduated from Berkeley High School and attended the University of California, Berkeley. He worked for many years as an electrical engineer in Silicon Valley, California, until his job transferred him and his family to Austin, Texas.
Nathaniel Howard moved into his new home on Saturday, January 17, 2015.
Proceeded in death by: His father, mother, and sister Bobbie Titus.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of 38 years, Christine Howard; two sons: Arrion Howard of Dallas, Texas and Jason Howard of Houston, Texas; two granddaughters; Mia Danielle, and Ivy Christine; niece Robin Lambert of Oakland, California and nephew Charles Hunt of Charlotte, North Carolina and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Nate was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
