Nikko Jamal Jackson was born to DeWayne K. Jackson Sr. and Tammy Lee Poole on December 8, 1989, at Brackenridge Hospital, Austin, Texas. At the age of four years old, Nikko’s maternal mother, Tammy Lee Poole, passed away. He was then raised by his father DeWayne K. Jackson Sr. and his stepmother, Cynthia Roland. Nikko graduated from Travis High School with the class of 2008, where he was a member of the ROTC program.
Nikko professed his faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder James L. Foster, Pastor.
Nikko loved his family and friends. He was the one who always wanted to pay for the food, tickets to concerts, cell phone bill, etc. He was a kind soul.
Nikko enjoyed skateboarding, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling. Above all, he loved to work. He always had a job.
Nikko was preceded in death by his birth mother, Tammy Lee Poole; grandmothers, Marilyn Jackson and Katherine Roland; and Uncle Billy Joe Roland.
He leaves his memories to be cherished by his parents, DeWayne K. Jackson Sr., Stepmother, Cynthia Roland, brothers DeWayne K. Jackson Jr., Devin Allen Jackson, and a host of other uncles, aunties, cousins, and friends.
