Norlena Janette Fowler Fulford

Born January 28, 1943 to Norlan J. and Lela N. Fowler in Crosbyton, TX.
Norlena attended Big Four Schools and graduated from Crosbyton High School. After graduation she worked as a telephone operator. Norlena loved books, cats, horseback riding, dancing, crochet, westerns, and her family.

She married Lonnie Fulford, August 12, 1965 in Crosbyton TX. They made their home in Brownfield Texas, until the summer of 2000 when they moved to "the Fowler home place" in Crosby County. The career Norlena devoted her life to was Mother and homemaker.

Norlena left her earthly bonds and pain behind on November 2, 2014, with her daughter by her side.

Waiting for her on the other side was her husband, Lonnie Fulford, her parents, Norlan and Lela Fowler, a brother, Randy Fowler and a stepson, Randy Fulford.
Norlena is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, LaRana and Curtis Kirby, of Burnet TX, her grandchildren, Bethani Kirby of Millsap TX, Brandon Kirby and Brynna Kirby of Burnet TX, stepson, Jace Fulford of Irving TX, sister, Janice St. Clair of Ralls TX, nieces, Janalynn Davis of Olton TX, Melissa Sanchez of Lubbock TX and nephews Wes St.Clair of Ralls TX, Allen Fowler and Guy Norlan Fowler of Raleigh NC, many cousins, extended relatives and friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Oaks Nursing Center in Burnet, TX for helping care for her in her last days.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and time.
