Norris Fisher

Norris Joe "Jake" Fisher, age 54, was called home by the Lord on August 11th, 2017, after a short battle with cancer. Norris had a generous, loving heart and will be greatly missed by the countless people he touched throughout his life. Norris was the 12th child born to Mr. Johnnie and Tommie C. Fihser. He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, parents Johnnie (father), Tommie C (Eans) Fisher (mother), Charlie B (brother), Katie M (sister), Aunt Johnnie Mae, Uncle Emmett Earls, and Annie Mae (cousin).

He is survived by Michele Green Fisher, Gladys, Melvin, and Johnny (Bats) Fisher. He is also survived by Laverne, Bob, Curtis, and Billy Guyton. Ted, Johnny Ray, Jimmie Lee, Charles Henry, Eddie Lee, Bobbie Jean, Dorris, Darryl, and Glen Fisher.

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Debbie, Tonia, Kendra, and Jake’s favorite little buddy Brayton (Red) Pearson.

Norris was a member of Baptist Temple of Austin, Texas, Pastor Keith Rawls.

Family requests donations to Hospice Austin Christopher House in lieu of flowers.
