Patricia “Pat” Christina Benkenstein December 16, 1935 - May 5, 2019

On Sunday, May 5, 2019, Patricia Christina McCarthy Benkenstein (“Pat”) passed away at the age of 83 in Austin, Texas. She was born on December 16, 1935 in the Bronx, New York and moved to Houston, Texas in 1978, where she earned a college degree and owned her own business as a certified public accountant.

Pat will be eternally remembered by her children, John Benkenstein, Mary Church and her husband John, Teresa Rojo and her husband Stewart, Patty Rodriguez and her husband Tim, her 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and siblings John, Tom, Geri and Kathy.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, 120 W. Oltorf St., Austin, Texas, 78704.

Memorial donations in memory of Pat may be made to Arden Courts Of Austin, Memory Care Community, 11630 Four Iron Dr, Austin, Texas 78750 or other charity of your choosing.
