Quentin Duval Easterwood Livingston, age 19, died on May 18, 2015. His radiant personal energy was restless, calm, playful, inquisitive, focused, gentle, raucous - often all at once. Quentin never met a musical genre he couldn't adapt into his stylings. He was also a graffiti writer of no small skill, bombing and wildstyling for fun and profit. The son of two writers, there was a crisp humor to his online life that revealed a wit tinged with exasperated kindness. Quentin was always ready to love and be loved. He gave his love freely and accepted love graciously, amplifying what he received. The love was adaptogenic, flowing out of him and creating an atmosphere of acceptance, joy and goofy beingherefulness. His close friend Juliet D. King writes: "Quentin would drop into your life out of nowhere, as if by some miraculous glitch in the stillness around you, there he'd be. Suddenly thrown into your atmosphere with passion and fury, revolving around your logic at lightspeed, absorbing every unfinished thought you ever had and stretching it, stretching you to your utmost intellectual and emotional heights. " Parents Kent Livingston and Mysti Easterwood want to thank the Rader family, his close and closer friends and his true mentors, teachers and staff at Brykerwoods, Kealing and Garza for the support and love they gave Quentin. Our son left a message in his lethal hubris; he died of an accidental heroin overdose. For years he told us it was a dumb drug, then he proved it beyond a shadow of a doubt. Quentin's Memorial will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 4700 Grover Ave. on May 31st, 3-6 p.m. If Q's memory moves you to donate or share, please contact Quentininfo@strategichelp.com
