Raquel Rodriguez went to be with the Lord at the age of 64 on January 24, 2013 after a courageous 30 year battle with diabetes. Born on April 6, 1948 in Comales, Tamaulipas Mexico, daughter of Pablo and Trinidad Trevino. She married the love of her life and best friend Fidencio Rodriguez.
She touched many lives while doing what she enjoyed most, spending her days and nights ministering to others about Our Lord Jesus Christ through music, singing and prayer. She was blessed by the Lord with a beautiful singing voice and she embraced the gift of song by singing to The Lord everyday of her life.
In death she will be joining her son Jorge Alberto Rodriguez, mother Trinidad Trevino and her father Pablo Trevino. She leaves behind her husband Fidencio Rodriguez and four children, Joe Rodriguez (Norma Rodriguez), Chachi Rodriguez (Laurie Rodriguez), daughter Ludivina Malina (Stephen Malina), daughter Diana Rodriguez and daughter in-law Tracy Dyezz.
