Richard G. Becerra 77 of Smithville Texas died Tuesday August 23, 2015. He was born to Paul and Santos Becerra June 2,1938. Richard graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School Rosenberg Texas Class of 1957 and also attended Wharton Jr college for two year. He married Sally Arellano on August 16,1964. They made their home in Smithville for the past 37 year's. Richard is a member of Rosanky Baptist Church. Richard is survived by 3 children Edward and Peggy Becerra of Bastrop Texas, George Becerra of Smithville Texas, and Veronica and Pat Sorrell of Pocahontas Tennessee. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren Ryan Mata, Alex Becerra, Jackie Sorrell, Cassandra Sorrell, Dustin Sorrell, Christopher Sorrell, Jimmy Sorrell, Connor Becerra, and Gabriel Becerra.
Memorial will be held Saturday August 29, 2015 at Rosanky Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Rosanky Texas 2160 FM 535 Rosanky Texas 78953
