Robert Chaney

Robert Allen Chaney, Sr., age 68 from Sweetwater, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2017. Robert was born to William Granville Chaney and Faye Doss.

Robert served in the Navy after high school and after coming to Austin, he met and married his best friend, Joan. The two were married on November 8th, 1974 and were together for 42 years until she was called to heaven on December 14th, 2016. Robert also spent over 30 years working for Binswanger Glass Company in Austin, Tx.

Robert is survived by his daughter Pam Waters and husband Richard Waters, son Jeffrey Chaney, son Robert Chaney, Jr. and wife Andria Chaney, daughter Christa Chaney and 10 grandchildren; Dylan Spencer, Colton Waters, Bryce Waters, Sarah Spencer, Kassidie Waters, Natalya Flores, Hayden Chaney, Syerra Chaney, Wyllow Chaney and Hope Chaney. He also leaves behind many brothers, sisters and extended family and friends.

Services will be provided at All Faith's Funeral Home and burial will follow at the Fiskville Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather at daughter Pam Waters home following the graveside service.
