Robert Lee Schlitzkus, son of David and Martha Schlitzkus was born in Rosenberg, TX on October 9, 1935. He married Pauline Ann Stasny on October 4, 1961. He departed at 8:41 AM on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the age of 78.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Anna Schlitzkus Davis Jr. of Smithville, Grandson; Daniel Davis Jr. of Smithville, Sister; Meta Marie Mager of Jonestown, Two Nieces; Debbie Clendenner of Crockett and Meshell Counterman of Jonestown, and one Nephew; Allen Robertson of Magnolia.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Pauline, Grandson; Eric Matthew Davis, Brother; Edward Schlitzkus and his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Services will be Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM at All Faiths of the Pines. (110 American Legion Road, Smithville, TX.) Interment will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Smithville, TX. following the service.
