Roberta Kennette Edwards, 56, daughter of John and Lurline Barnes was born on February 3, 1960, passed away May 26, 2016 in Manor, Tx..

Kennette attended Rock Island Public Schools. In 1986 she relocated to Texas where she was a manager in the restaurant industry for over 15 years. Once in Texas. she resided with her sister for many years and was no less that a second Mother to her sister's 3 children. She never missed a game or a school activity.

Kennette was preceded in death by her Mother, Lurline Barnes (Holland), Sister, Robin Barnes and Brother John Barnes.

She leaves to treasure her memory her Loving Husband; Maurice Edwards, Step-Sons; Maurice Edwards, II, and Marcis Eddwards. Siblings; Debbie Holland of Ft. Worth, Tx., Lisa Howard of Austin, Tx., Larry Holland of Rock Island, Ill., Glory Barnes of Rock Island, Ill., Crystal Shelby (Gary) of Indianapolis, In., Dana Barnes of Houston, Tx., and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00am at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 8507 N. IH-35, Austin, Texas.
Internment Committal Services will follow in Memorial Hill Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
