Rod T. Selby was born on March 31, 1956 in McRae GA to Jackie Freeman Selby and Gretha Barnes. He attended schools in McRae GA. He moved to Austin, TX in 1975.
Rod T. Selby and Estilene Selby aka (Pam) married in 1986. To this union one son was born, Tyrone Lee Selby.
He worked for Food Land grocery store for many years. Rod obtained employment with the Southern Union Gas Company. He worked there for over 20 years, and then he retired.
Rod T. Selby aka (Maniac) became a member of the Humpin People M/C in 1980. He was one of the original members. He became an officer in the Club early in its beginning. He eventually became the President of the Mother chapter in Austin, TX of 2000, where he remained active until his departure. Maniac, thank you for your service and your leadership. May God be with you.
He was preceded in death by his father Jackie Freeman, his brother, Jackie C. Selby, grandparents, Inez Tobler and Cleveland Clark, and great grandparents, Garfield and Genever Barnes.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Estilene Selby, his mother, Gretha Barnes, his daughters, Tyler McClendon from Dallas Texas, Thoko Selby from Houston Texas, Honesti Selby from Dallas Texas, stepdaughter, Tammie Monroe (Kenneth) from Austin Texas, his sons, Rod T. Selby Jr. from Houston Texas, Tyrone Lee Selby from Austin Texas, Raymond Selby from Austin Texas, his brothers, Foye Selby (Barbara), Austin, TX, Blonnie McKinnon (Delores), Eastman GA, Gary McKinnon (Ruby), Eastman GA, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
