"Sadie Mosley" as she was a keep it together, affectionately and loving mother, was also called Mama Sadie, Aunt Sadie and Sister Sadie, was born to Berta Lyon Jones and Frank Jones on January 3, 1935, in Crandall, Texas. She was the baby of four, a brother, King Jones, sisters, Frankie Lee Bean and Lillie McKnight.
She was a very outgoing woman. She loved traveling, fishing, shopping, cooking and family gatherings. Also she was the world greatest cook and a #1 Mom. Very loving and understanding. Had the most beautiful smile, looked like sunshine on her face. Love you Mom and best friend.
She was called home to be with the Lord, March 28, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Berta and Frank Jones; brother, King Jones and son, Ray Charles Sterling.
She leaves to mourn; those who cherish her precious memories include her nine children, Donnell Carter and Hazel Washington of Lubbock, TX, Donald Williams Sr. (Lillie Humphrey) of Cedar Park, TX, Brenda Woodard (Joe Willie) of Round Rock, TX, Anita Moody Sterling of San Antonio, TX, Ike Sterling of Manor, TX, Shirley Donald and Lonnie Jones of Austin, TX and Jame Lee Mosley of Longview, TX; two sisters, Lillie McKnight and Frankie Lee Bean; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
