Sandra Ann Holt was born on September 10, 1938, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 86 in Austin, Texas. She was the daughter of Archie Melvin and Ruth Martha Hall.

On March 9, 1957, she married Donald Joe Holt in Compton, California, and together they had four children: Donnie, Dané, Brad, and Belynda.

Sandra embodied selflessness, finding joy in life’s simplest pleasures. A woman of deep faith, she found strength and solace in her relationship with God, which guided her through life’s challenges. Her unwavering love for her family knew no bounds, always putting their needs above her own. With a delightful sense of humor, she brightened every room, embracing everyone with warmth and acceptance, regardless of their flaws. Her nurturing spirit and unconditional support enriched the lives of those around her.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Joe Holt; her parents, Archie Melvin and Ruth Martha Hall; her brothers, Bill Hall and Wayne Hall; and her grandson, Cole Holt.

She is survived by her children: Donald Joe Holt Jr.; daughter Donnice and her husband, Gregg Barnett; son Bradley and his wife, Cindy Holt; daughter Belynda and her husband, David Brietzke; and her brother, Archie and his wife Joann Hall. Sandra was the best Mawmaw anyone could ever ask for, leaving behind eight grandchildren: Gregg (Bubba), Jency, Brandon, Ashley, Eric, Amber, Miranda, and Madi, and ten great-grandchildren: Peyton, Bentley, Miley, Katy, Oliver, Owen, Aden, Benjamin, JJ, and Jason.

Sandra will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her, and her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She will be laid to rest at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, service date and time pending.
