Sherrie Hollis

Sherrie Womack Hollis went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2017. She was born on January 3, 1947 in Pueblo, Colorado.

Sherrie was preceded in death by two husbands, Roy Womack and Clyde Hollis, son Matthew Womack, and her parents Pete and Margie Bohannon. She is survived by one sister, Gay Bohannon of De Soto, Texas; and two brothers Dale Bohannon and wife Teresa of Calvert, Texas; and Tommy Bohannon and wife Penny of Trinity, Texas. Sherrie was an aunt to several nieces and nephews including Amber and husband David, Chelsey, Cole and wife Kali, John, Tommy Dale and wife Cortney, Brad and wife Margaret, Starla, Rhett, and Micah. She was a great-aunt to Briana, Monica, Morgan, Ellie, Eden, Avery, Brayden, Connor, and Addison.

Sherrie worked, as an LVN, at several nursing homes, hospitals, and schools around the Bastrop/Smithville area. She was very involved in her church activities and was a person that was always there to listen and lend some good advice. Sherrie was a godly woman who truly loved the Lord. She will be missed by many. Her memorial service will be on Sunday, September 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Baptist Church in Paige, Texas.
