Ted Harris Fisher was called home by The Lord on August 18, 2023. He had a big heart, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Ted was the fourth child born to Parents Johnny L. Fisher and Tommie C. (Eans) Fisher. Born in Austin, Texas, he attended Sims Elementary, Allan Jr. High, and A.S. Johnson High School. He went on to work for the State of Texas in various positions, particularly with mechanics. Ted was very good with his hands; healso loved to have a good time with family and friends, and listen to music. He finally passed after a long battle with illness, making his way to our Heavenly Father's door.
Ted is preceded in death by both parents; paternal Grandparents George and Melinda Fisher; maternal Grandparents Thomas Eans Sr. and Annie Lou (Shivers) Eans; three Sisters - Doris L. (Guyton) Campbell, Bobbie Jean Fisher, and Kate M. (Fisher) Manqual; three Brothers - Ira Guyton, John Willie Guyton, and Norris Joe Fisher; one Step-Brother - Charle B. Fisher; and a host of other aunties, uncles, and cousins.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his beloved Children – Orentha, Latricia, Lamont, Jonathon, Quentin (Quiana); Sister - Dorris (Fisher) Fowler; five Brothers - Curtis Guyton, Eddie Fisher, Charles Fisher, Johnny Fisher, and Jimmy Fisher; Step-Brothers - Johnnie Fisher, Jr. and Melvin Fisher; Step-Sister - Gladys (Fisher) Jackson; Grandkids - Todrick Harris, Brianna Harris, Avelina Fisher, Tre Harris, Tiana Fisher, Quentin Fisher Jr., Queon Fisher, and Lamont Fisher Jr.; as well as numerous other loved ones.
