Thelma Price

Thelma Louise Price
1949 - 2015

Thelma Louise Price was born November 18, 1949 in McGregor, TX. She was one of four daughters born to her late parents, Lonnie Grimes and Lucille Wright.

The family move to Waco, TX. She later moved to Austin, TX. She attended public schools in Austin including L.C. Anderson High School.
Thelma accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She married Roy Price, Sr. on September 29, 1965. To this union four children were born. She was preceded in death by her sisters Ernestin Caulfield and Jewel Portley.

She was a caring and unselfish person that was loved by many. You knew that she had Christ indwelling in her heart by the love she showed to others. Her kind loving spirit showed that she was a Child of God. She was a woman of true strength, grace, kindness and love. She always kept a smile on her face and she never complained about anything. Thelma loved spending time with her family and friends, and she always welcomed you for a hot meal.

Thelma was such a loving person who was loved by all that knew her. She had a special gift of hospitality, generosity, cooking, decorating and she made everyone feel loved, important and happy. She was funny which came natural for her. She gave of herself, always taking time to listen and she gave encouragement when needed. She was an inspiration to all, and will be truly missed.

Thelma leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: Daughter Chandra Thompson (Ray); Sons, Roy Price Jr., Roderick Price and Anthony Price all of Austin, TX.; Eleven grandchildren; Sister Brenda Edwards, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and Friends.

Family and Friends Visitation will be held at All Faiths North Chapel on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 4:00PM-8:00PM

Funeral Services will be Saturday October 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the North Chapel of All Faiths Funeral Home.
