Thomas Hopkins, Jr

Our beloved Thomas Eugene Hopkins, Jr., also affectionately known as JR, 32 of Austin passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012. He attended Manor High School in Manor, Texas, graduating in 1998. He enjoyed watching sports especially the Cowboys, Longhorns and the Heat. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Thomas was always the life of the party, with his smile and great sense of humor; anytime spent with him was bound to be a great time.


Even through his pain, Thomas always found a way to make people laugh. Sometimes he would just make himself laugh. He was a generous person, always giving what he could to whoever was in need. He was a wonderful Son, Brother, family member and friend.

Survived by his Parents; Thomas and Marion Hopkins, Sister; Adrienne Hopkins, Aunts; Donna Henderson, Cheryl Nettles, Charlotte Fowler and Annette Bradshaw, Uncles; Melvin (Vanessa) Bibbs, Ronald (Sharon) Campbell, Gary (Alicia) Hopkins and Donald Hopkins. Favorite Cousins; LaJune (Dimitrius) King, Henry (Averi) Hayes, Curtis (Treva) Fowler, Candace Fowler, Ronald )Alexis) Campbell, Jr., Craig James and a host of other family members.


Visitation Services, Wednesday August 15, 2012, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at All Faiths Funeral Service-North Location. Going Home Celebration Services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, 4805 Heflin Lane, Austin, Texas. Committal Services will follow at the Cook Walden Capital Memorial Park Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
