Valentina's Story
My beautiful mom, Valentina Escott passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 14th, 2024 at the age of 71 after a brief illness.
"Mom, you have worked all your life ever since you were a little girl. As a little girl, you were put to work on a farm helping your sisters and mom clearing fields for cropping to make money so you all could eat. As an adult you were a single parent working several jobs to provide food and shelter for us. Some days you would go without eating just so I could eat. After all of your hard work and dedication you were able to purchase a home for us and you did it all on your own. Even up to a few weeks before you’re passing you were working. Mom, no more working. No more putting your body through all the hard work and labor that you endured all your life. Now you can rest."
My mom Valentina had the biggest heart, even through her struggles she found a way to help anyone in need.
As my mom got older, she enjoyed planting roses, flowers, and fruit trees. A bird lover-she had several songbirds.
Her greatest loves were her grandchildren Cayden & Malia Medina and she was theirs.
"Mom, your love has been the greatest gift of my life and my kids’ lives. I am thankful for your sacrifices and the endless care and love you provided. We love you more than words can express."
