Velma Hargrove

Velma passed peacefully from this life the morning of May 15th. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Velma was born on July 17th 1930 to Ida and Samuel. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She raised 7 children of her own and many grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Early Hargrove, her mother Ida Shepard, her father Samuel Adams, brothers Roger J. Shepard, Dave Adams and John Adams, her son James Earl Hargrove, daughter Judy Hargrove, son Ricky Hargrove Sr., her grandchildren Crystal Woods and Andre Woods.
She leaves to cherish her memories five children: Charles Hargrove, Ester Brown (Roydale),Cora Chambers(Louis),Betty Brooks(Rick),Tim Hargrove(Theresa); Velma is also survived by her two special sisters Bessie Futrell, Ida Holiday. Velma is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11:00am at Capital Memorial Park Cemetery, 14501 N. IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
