Evangelist Pastor Venita E. Porter was born on June 20, 1964 In Fort Worth, Texas to Verna Fisher and the late David Jarvis. She married Pastor R. Anthony Porter on November 18, 2001. She was received into her heavenly home on June 16, 2012.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years R. Anthony Porter of Hallettsville ; Mother Verna Fisher of Austin; 3 children , John Burns, Iyanna Burns, Melody Porter ; 1 brother Vincent Jarvis (wife Rose, 2 nephews, 2 nieces) ; 1 sister Kassandra Fisher (2 nephews, 3 nieces) ; 1 aunt Alice Thomas of South Carolina (3 cousins) ; 1 uncle Donnie Scott (wife Mary Helen), 3 cousins ; a host of step-brothers and sisters, special friends, nephews, nieces, cousins and other relations.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Grace Church of the Nazarene, under the Auspices of Deliverance Temple in Jesus Name.
Interment will be 11:00 am, Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Willing Worker Cemetery, Hallettsville, TX.
