Vicki Renee Seidel was born June 20, 1962 to Tommy and Laura Dill in Corsicana, Texas. She passed away April 5, 2013 at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. She attended school in Pflugerville, Texas.
At the age of 16 Vicki went to work with her dad and brothers on a road crew operating heavy equipment. She then obtained her CDL and became a dump truck driver. She was given the nickname "Trucker Vicki".
Her son, Kyle Williams was born in 1991. In 1996 she bought her first dump truck. She was in Austin when she heard about the category 5 tornado heading toward Jarrell. Kyle was at his babysitter's so she broke all the speed limits to get to him. Unfortunately, the tornado completely destroyed their home.
She continued driving dump trucks for about 18 years and then became a dispatcher for Ernesto Trucking Company for 5 years. Vicki then became a cashier at HEB; retiring due to poor health. In 2003 Vicki married Garrett Seidel. Unto this union on daughter was born, Kyndall Renee Seidel.
She is survived by her husband, Garrett; son, Kyle Williams and daughter, Kyndall; two brothers, Roddy Dill and wife Sharon, of Lexington, Texas, and Marty Dill of Austin, Texas; sister Darla Thompson and husband Warren of Pflugerville, Texas; nephews, Tony Dill and wife Fallon, Shane Dill and wife Nikki, Corey Armstrong and wife Jessica; nieces Amber Ruggles and husband John, Tomi Jo Dill, Brandi Etheredge, and Brittany Thompson; 4 great nephews, and a great niece.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 3C Cowboy Fellowship, 16258 Gooseneck Road, Salado, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas or to 3C Cowboy Fellowship in Salado, Texas.
