Victoria Salas

Victoria Salas, 92, of Austin passed away peacefully January 2, 2016 in the home and care of Julia and Daniel Aleman.

Victoria was born on December 25, 1923 to the late Cresencio Rivera and Concepcion Garza in Corpus Christi.

Victoria was an amazing mother of 17 children and loving grandmother of many, as well as aunt, sister, and friend; she will be dearly missed.

Survived by her children, Julia Aleman, Gloria Musgrove, Juanita Selvera, Ricardo Salas, Concepcion Martinez, Bacilia Alvarado and Guadalupe Castro; sister, Mary Corpus and many grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Elijio Salas Sr.; daughters, Consuelo Mier and Esparanza Davila; sons Arturo Salas, Jesse Salas, Eljio Salas Jr., Reynaldo Salas, Paul Salas, Frank Davila, Fernando Davila and Victor Rivera; brother, Hilaro Rivera and sisters, Pauline Flores and Francis Park.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 4:00pm-8:00pm and funeral services at 11:00am Friday, January 8, 2016 at All Faiths Funeral Services (north location). Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Selvera, Gerald Musgrove, Ricardo Salas, Jesse Salas, Junior Alvarado, Ben Mendoza.
