Violeta Johnson

Our beloved mother was born Violeta Eripsia Auguste on November 17, 1939 in Panama Rebublic of Panama.  She was the 13th child of Evans Auguste and Julia Jerome Auguste. "Ma" as we all called her grew up in Calidonoia, attended Saint Vincent De Paul, "Liceo De Senoritas" and graduated from "Escuela De Modisteria".

Ma was married to the late Vivian Johnson until his passing in 1987.  From that marriage she had 4 children. Ma was a hard working woman and worker several jobs to put food on the table. Ma loved to dance and sing. You would often hear her sing "I Will Survive"and "Tiny Winy".

Ma loved to travel and she migrated to the US in 1997 to provide a better future for her children. Ma has always professed her love for Christ. She gave unselfishly her love, her wisdom and her to everyone.  Ma never tired and she was always there for her family and others around her.

Ma was a strong and independent woman. She was positive and saw the bright side through adversity by saying " God will prevail".

Ma leaves to cherish her memories her children: Celina Vaz, Ricardo Johnson, Xiomara Nunez, and Itzel Quinlan; Three Son in Laws Alberto Vaz, Ricardo Nunez, Cecilio Quinlan and one Daughter in Law  Natalia Johnson; Her sisters Bernice Crawford, Evelina Matthews and Julia Campbell; Her grandchildren Tiffiney Johnson (Luis Ponce), Kamisha Knight, Jammal Ramos, Verushka Williams, Vianethe Constantino, Chantal Johnson, Chanel Knight (James Perry), Ryan Johnson, and Aisha Ontiveras (Cesar Ontiveras); Her Great-Grandchildren Shadey McCree, Josue Zambrano, Anastasia Perry, Karsyn Revels, Shanisse Ponce, Amaree "King" Sanders and Aiden Perry; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lots of other family members and friends

Ma will be greatly missed.
