Wanda Nell Richardson was born July 7, 1960 to James Hugh Richardson and Anna Nobles Richardson in Austin, TX. She attended the Austin public schools graduating from A.S. Johnston High School.
Wanda accepted Christ at an early age and united with Del Valle Missionary Baptist Church and later united with the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She later reunited with the Del Valle Missionary Baptist Church. Wanda was united to in holy matrimony to Aaron Moore on August 16, 1997. No children were born to this union.
Wanda loved working with children and this was evident in the years she served as a Lead Infant Teacher for several early childcare learning centers. She worked for 13 years at The Children's Center of Austin, 12 years at Martin House Learning Center and 1 A½ years at Jumping Jacks Learning Center.
Wanda had a great love for her family especially her sister Anna Jean (Twin). She also loved to sing. Wanda found great joy in sharing her favorite recipes with her Facebook friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Anna Richardson, brothers, Martin Nell Nobles, Woodrow Sterling Jr., and Charles Edward Sterling; and sisters Marie Richardson and Margaret Hardin.
Wanda entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 8:48 am at St David's Medical Center.
Wanda leaves to cherish her memories, one step-daughter LaShonda M. Talbert of Greenville, MS, four sisters Gladys Scott of Austin, TX, Doris Williams (Billy) of Lytton Springs, TX, Georgia Steen (Johnny) and Anna Jean Richardson all of Austin, TX; two brothers, James Louis Richardson (Amy) and Otis Richardson (Gladys) of Austin, TX; three god-children Daniela Cruz of Austin, TX, Charles and Angelica Brown of Schwenkszille, PA; one aunt, Flossie Walker (Maurice) of Del Valle, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
