Willie Cisneros

Willie R. Cisneros, 66, of Kyle, TX passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 in Kyle. Viewing will be at Harrells Funeral Home in Kyle from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass will be held at 10:00 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Kyle, with Burial following at St. Michaels Cemetery in Uhland, TX.

Willie is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Rodriguez, Grandparents, Rito Rodriguez & Cirilda Lombardo, as well as numerous aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Willie is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sylvia Cisneros, and their 6 children: Brian Cisneros, 2 grandchildren, Rick Anthony Rodriguez and wife Amber, 2 grandchildren, Yolanda Rodriguez and husband Aric, 3 grandchildren, Rita Cisneros, 2 grandchildren, Nicole Cisneros-Hinkle and husband Thomas, and Marc Joseph Cisneros.

Willie was well known in the Tejano Music Industry and helped many struggling artists when no one else would. Many considered him one of the few honest, loyal and trustworthy people in a sometimes cold industry. He always wanted to own his own business and achieved his dream and beyond. He was a wonderful loving, supporting father to his children and a major figure in each of his grandkids lives. He was the best husband a wife could ask for. Willie's words to his children were, "you can achieve anything you want" and he will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers the Cisneros family would ask that a donation be made to colon cancer research.
