Wyatt A. Driskell II, age 58, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012. He was born in Austin, Texas on August 14, 1954 to parents Wyatt (Sonny) and Lovey Driskell.
At an early age Wyatt found his passion for baseball and the game of fast pitch softball. He began in little league baseball and continued playing thru college at Texas Lutheran University. In fast pitch he was one of the best third baseman and pitchers to play the game. He played for The Texans and Flyers, and received Most Valuable Player award from each team. He excelled at basketball in high school and college. In his senior year he was the overall Top Scorer in the Austin Independent School District. His hobbies included hunting, and fishing. He also was a big Texas Longhorn fan.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy and stepdaughter, Shannon; parents Wyatt (Sonny) and Lovey Driskell; his brother and spouse, Terrell and Jennifer Driskell, and their two children, Ryan and Meredith; his two daughters and spouses, Souk and Ashley Sengsouvanh, Calen and Alisha Stewart; and 3 granddaughters, Tylee, Rylee and Caleigh.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and stepdaughter, Brittany.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00a.m. at St. Martins Lutheran Church, 601 W. 15th St., Austin Texas.
