Betty Johnson was born on August 13, 1938, to Albert and Louise Wade, in Martindale, Texas. She attended schools in San Marcos, Texas.

Betty married the love of her life, Jack Johnson, on March 9, 1957 and to this union, five children were born, four daughters and one son.

She willingly gave her life to Christ at an early age. She joined Simpson UMC where she remained a member, She retired from IBM in 1992. She had a great passion for playing softball. She had an opportunity to play in the State softball playoffs, where their team became State champions. She loved cooking, fishing, camping, shooting pool, travelling, taking cruises, and just being with her family. God blessed us with the best wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother anyone could ever have. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Louise Wade; son, Jack Albert; two brothers, Horace Wade and Tommy Wade; two sisters, Virginia Armstrong and Dorothy Wade.

Betty passed peacefully from this life, on the morning of May 2, 2023, surrounded and supported by her loving family.

She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: her husband, Jack Johnson; daughters, Cheryl Johnson (Robert), Bettie Johnson Revada, Cynthia Diggs and Debra Martin (Sidney). Grandchildren: Dadrian (Sherquero), Dennis (Jordan), Micherlyn (Darrick), Jaqi, Sidney, Jr., James Jr. (Tatianna), Erik (Nicole), Julia, Christopher (Darlene), Lacey (Bridget), Crystal (Allyn), and Sedric. Great-Grandchildren: Dadrian, Jr., Davian, Maliek, Jayden, Romelo, Jaslyn, Jaxson, Preston, Taye, Harmony, Kyndall, Liam and a host of relatives and friends.
